Stanlee Ventures and Quiva Productions have partnered with Shaka’s Live in Virginia Beach and are proud to be hosting an all-day outdoor event on May 20th, 2017, at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront in the parking lot of Shaka’s to raise funds and build awareness for (HOPE) n MUSIC. We are looking to bolster and strengthen community involvement with a wonderful cause that will benefit some truly amazing people. We all know the stress that comes with being in the hospital or dealing with a disability; one can only imagine what it is like being a individual forced to handle the reality of being ill much less the challenges of growing up. Our goal is to provide happiness and relief to some of these people in need in a creative and artistic format. Music provides happiness and we are here to provide that music. Our newly organization stands for “Helping Other People Experience” music.
Va Beach Funk Out hopes to raise enough money to help build the music program for (HOPE) n MUSIC. The non profit raises money to provide music lesson scholarships for these less fortunate kids and adults, while providing instruments for them to keep. The scholarship also includes the assistance of the music instructor from the Hampton Roads area. (HOPE) n MUSIC is working with a couple notable companies already from around the area like Autism Society of Tidewater and Wounded Warriors Project. We are super excited to build the music lesson program and we already have companies wanting to help like local favorites, School of Rock.
(HOPE) n MUSIC was created by Scott McLain and Brent Davis, two Va Beach natives. Scott’s father being handicapped, working a full time job, playing music on the side, and raising three awesome children, his ambition pushed Scott to help others. Scott and Brent being best friends for over 20 years decided they wanted to give back to the community. Both of them are working hard to build a solid foundation and a bright future for (HOPE) n MUSIC. The board committee of (HOPE) n MUSIC consist of business owners from around the area, which include Shaka’s Live owners Jon Dorner and Shawn Levett, and admin Roseann Jackson. The team is hard at work to bring the best Funk Out to the area and build awareness to the program.
We are asking for community involvement by sponsoring such a great cause. Every sponsor helps toward the event cost and our mission. Our expected attendance for this event is 2,000 people on site throughout the entire event, which guarantees your sponsorship will not go unnoticed. There are tons of rewards, if your interested, email firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be hosting special VIP and Sponsor gatherings before and after the event for a chance to network, communicate with and celebrate those that have chosen to play a role in this great cause. We can accommodate as well to specific requests if it works within our system.
